The Clinic is held in AMBULATORY CARE which is the former Emergency Dept. This area is on the ground floor, very close to the hospital's main switchboard and reception area. Head for that area and then follow our signs.
For patients being dropped off there is a covered entrance at the rear of the hospital. (The previous Emergency Department entrance) This is very convenient for those of you who are less mobile. Alas that door is now being locked at 5.30 pm on the orders of the hospital administration. I regret I have not been able to get them to reverse this policy on the evenings we have our cliniics. There is a buzzer at the door which, theoretically, should allow the door to be unlocked by the security officer on duty.
Parking
There is metered parking in the hospital's grounds. Please note the meters operate until 8.30pm and you may be "ticketed" until that time of night. The adjacent city parkade has the advantage of being covered. It has a short walkway going onto the hospital's property. It costs a flat rate of $2. Parking in the Court House behind the hospital is not acceptable at any time. Illegal parking can result in a hefty fine.
